Telescopic J-tube Support Frame
IK Subsea delivered a retrofit J-tube support frame. The tool worked as a single leg telescopic support, placed under the end of the J-tube between the flange and the bell-mouth.
The telescopic J-tube support frame had a tray supporting the bottom-side of the J-tube at an approximate angle of 120 degrees.
The tool gives 25 tons of vertical support for the J-tube and it could also accommodate for a 5 degree angle between the J-tube and the seabed.
